This is my favorite restaurant in DC. Came here a couple times, and the quality of food and service has been outstanding and consistent. Everything is delicate and delicious. We even got boxed desserts as gifts when we left. If I have to complain something, maybe it's the parking.
I had a red wine, the aperitivo, and pan. The aperitivo was amazing- beautiful like a work of art and delicious. The bread was lovely too. Wonderful service at the bar by Marcos and all the staff. Highly recommend!

The food was truly exceptional. Each course surpassed the last, making the splurge well worth it. I regret not choosing the chef experience option, but my favorite dish was undoubtedly the dessert cheese platter, which was sinfully delicious. In addition to the outstanding food, the service was top-notch. The wine director provided an excellent wine experience, offering tastings of wines I wouldn't typically try. Each selection perfectly matched my preferences and descriptions. Although I ordered three wines, I wish I had opted for the wine tasting instead. I highly recommend this restaurant. Dining solo was a perfect experience, as the staff was engaging and made sure I felt completely at ease. If you're in town, this restaurant is a must-visit.

From the moment I walked in, I felt warmly welcomed and happy in such an elegant environment. We did the 9-course tasting menu and we were so full. Now I want to fly to Sicily. The most creative dishes Ive tried in DC. The chef played with different food and flavors. My favorite one is the duck ravioli. The desserts are exquisitely delicious and pretty. An unforgettable experience.

While the service and ambience were excellent, food wise we found some items were more successful than others. The apple appetizer, the fish crudo and the pasta were unforgettable. We chose the 5 plate menu and the amount of food was excessive. Overall an outstanding meal.
